i just done my last presentation for this semester, it is in RTW class, the lecture had given us a task to present about fashion, so i have make a choice to present about contact lens. So, i also want to share a bit at here how to maintainence your contact lenses to extend the life of your contact lenses and protect the safety and health of your eyes.The most important thing is, u must not share your lense with other person even your twin. Next, before handling contact lenses, wash and rinse hands. Use a non-cosmetic soap. Soaps with perfumes, oils, or lotions leave a film on the hands, which you may transfer to your lenses and cause eye irritation or blurred vision. If you use hair spray, use it before you put in your contacts. It iss also a good idea to keep your fingernails short and smooth to avoid damaging your lenses or scratching the eye. After your contacts are in your eyes, put on makeup so you don’t get any on your lenses. Take out contact lenses before you remove makeup for the same reason. Never use tap water directly on lenses, and never put contact lenses in your mouth to rinse them. Microorganisms can live in even distilled water, causing infection or sight damage.
Many people are not aware of the importance of proper contact lens maintenance. When you think about it, it is not natural to wear contact lenses. What you're actually doing is willingly placing foreign objects into your eyes which are one of the most sensitive parts of the body. You wouldn't usually allow something unsanitary into your body, yet people place dirty contact lenses into their eyes all the time!
